The easy steps are to negate any past issues on your file by disputing claims and getting in touch with credit agencies and get caught up on any past due bills. If your credit card is a mess, a big step is to get a new one and use it responsibly for a long period of time. Charge it and pay off your balance before the end of the month. Some banks offer a ‘Secure Loan or a Secured credit cards” this helps and the are very easy to get approved for … they usually charge fees but work well to get the ball rolling to build a good base for you… Plus you are under 18, you will need a adult to Cosign for any loan… if anything, find out if you can get a regular CC. Use it, and make sure you can pay it … don’t pay the whole balance, pay most of it every month 70% - 80%. I got well over a 825 Score and I never missed a bill by more the 7 days, that happened 1x ever. Pay the minimum – by the date due – no excuses.
