Alot of drivers opt for minimal insurance in order to save money, but adding comprehensive and collision insurance can add quite a bit of extra protection.

You can usually find an insurance package that rolls both types into one.

Comprehensive is advisable for all drivers as it covers a number of situations and covers pretty much everything that is not offered with collision insurance in terms of liability and so on.

If you have borrowed money to buy your car you should always invest in both types of coverage to protect your investment.

Simply put, collision insurance protects the driver in cases of collision with people, cars, and any other objects and also offers help for towing, salvage and storage of a car. Comprehensive insurance covers things such as weather damage, vandalism, fire, theft, and other similar instances.
